MONDAY NIGHTS WITH COACH LISA.

1. What is your favorite thing about Lagree Fitness?
It was love at first shake!  I have always loved pilates and one day my pilates teacher, at the time, mentioned that the reformer had been overhauled and transformed by Sebastien Lagree out in California. She said this thing is for you!  She had taught in Malibu and had switched to Lagree because of the effectiveness and efficient results. I was hooked pretty fast and haven't looked back!  Helping clients to achieve their own goals is rewarding as a trainer, and  the megaformer using The Lagree Method  just significantly elevates my job!

2. You've been consistently teaching at Novo for 5 years- what keeps you coming back for more/keeps you engaged with the Novo community?
There is only one answer:  the amazing clients!

3. What is your favorite exercise to teach and why?
Love Teaser how it can target those obliques!

4. Do you have a certain thing that you say in class to clients to keep them motivated during class? If so, what is your "catch phrase"?
Don’t modify because you want to, modify because you have to.

5. What's your favorite restaurant in Nashville?
Only one?!  Recently, we went to Makeready Libations and Liberation and the service and food was awesome, not to mention the great rooftop bar for after dinner drinks!

6. When not at Novo, where can we find you?
Chances are you will run into me at Percy Warner or working on a design project!

7. What is one thing that most people do not know about you?
I had my pilots license before my drivers!  Not sure how my parents allowed that one?!

RISE AND SHINE WITH COACH JEN.

1. What is your favorite thing about Lagree Fitness?
My favorite thing about Lagree Fitness is that it never gets old. Every class is different, you can do the moves in all different ways and it feels new and different every day! I love it!

2. You've been consistently teaching at Novo for 5 years- what keeps you coming back for more/keeps you engaged with the Novo community?
I love the novo community and the family of friends and clients that we have. Novo seriously cares about its people and remembers the important stuff. I like feeling like I am just hanging out with friends!

3. What is your favorite exercise to teach and why?
My favorite exercise to teach changes- but one I really always come back to and enjoy is cobra. I feel like it’s challenging, it’s hard to get right but when you do, boy do you feel it!

4. Do you have a certain thing that you say in class to clients to keep them motivated during class? If so, what is your "catch phrase"?
I think I probably have a couple 🤣... “You can do anything for 15 more seconds” & “Until that shake it’s just a warm up”.

5. What's your favorite restaurant in Nashville?
Oh goodness... I think the best meal I have ever had in a Nashville is Husk. But the restaurant I keep going back to (mostly bc it’s in my neighborhood) is Cafe Nonna and Answer.

6. When not at Novo, where can we find you?
When I am not at Novo you can find me at the pool, the zoo, Cheekwood, the park, on the greenway- anything I can do outside to keep my 3 and 1 year old busy and active!

7. What is one thing that most people do not know about you?
I used to work in advertising here in Nashville for 7 years. I danced my entire life, all the way up through college- and was the president the student run dance program my senior year at Sewanee.

GETTING TO KNOW COACH MORGAN.

1. What is your favorite thing about Lagree Fitness?
My favorite thing about Lagree fitness is that it is ever changing. There is always something new to discover. And your body changes so quickly!

2. You've been consistently teaching at Novo for 5 years- what keeps you coming back for more/keeps you engaged with the Novo community?
Novo's clients are the best. I love our consistent group. I also love that as the Lagree Method name spreads, we get more and more new "addicts."

3. What is your favorite exercise to teach and why?
My favorite exercise to teach is back lunge. This lunge is always challenging. It gets all of the good spots and takes a lot of mental focus to push through to the end.

4. Do you have a certain thing that you say in class to clients to keep them motivated during class? If so, what is your "catch phrase"?
I can and I will! It's a great reminder that YOU are the boss of you, and you can, if you will.

5. What's your favorite restaurant in Nashville?
This is a hard question for me! Ha Burger Up has been my fav since its inception and is my go-to, hands down. My favorite newer addition is to our ever-growing food community is 5th and Taylor or Oak.

6. When not at Novo, where can we find you?
Selling homes all around Nashville and Franklin! (basically all of Davidson and Williamson counties.) I'm probably doing admin work at Fido or the new RH Cafe or giving home tours to clients.

7. What is one thing that most people do not know about you?
I spent time living in and teaching Lagree Method full time in LA. Park City, Utah is also my favorite city in the US. I love it every time of year and try to visit at least 2x year- summer and winter.
